Happy 4th of July from Bass Lake School!
It was a good weekend of fun (and NO work!). It did seem a little symbolic that the only really useful thing I did was push a rock up a hill – is this a Sisyphus-ian effort to get this schoolhouse put back together??
But, be that as is it, we will continue on. Meanwhile, there was goofing off and fun to be had. A little campfire stew….
, a little sunning…
, and some great friends stopped by….

And to top it all off, we made a slight upgrade to the campfire seating!
Maybe next post I will have great news about schoolhouse progress (can you say ‘Jackhammer skills?’), but all I know is that this weekend was fantastic!
